Police arrest two suspects after shooting at Cologne watch shop

Police in Cologne have arrested two men, aged 18 and 42, following a shooting at a high-end watch store in the city center. The incident occurred around 3:50 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, in the Breitestraße area.

Witnesses reported hearing shots and observing three individuals fleeing on e-scooters. Following a police search, two suspects were apprehended near the Deutz-Mülheim Street area, and a firearm was recovered from the 42-year-old suspect. Authorities are still searching for a third suspect, described as wearing a dark cap and having a goatee.

Investigators noted that this is the same establishment that was targeted by gunfire twice in August. Police are currently examining whether there is a connection between this incident and the previous attacks.
