Police arrest vehicle theft gang in Indore and gangster in Gorakhpur

Police in India have conducted significant operations against criminal elements in Indore and Gorakhpur. In Indore, the Tejaji Nagar police dismantled a four-member vehicle theft gang. Following a tip-off on August 27, officers intercepted suspects near an Umrikheda wine shop, recovering 11 stolen two-wheelers with an estimated value of approximately 10 lakh rupees.

In Gorakhpur, law enforcement apprehended Guddu Dhadi, a gangster carrying a 50,000 rupee bounty, following an encounter in the Pipiganj area. Police reported that the suspect opened fire on the team, prompting a retaliatory response that resulted in a gunshot wound to the suspect's leg. Authorities recovered an illegal firearm, ammunition, and a motorcycle during the arrest. Dhadi is reportedly wanted in connection with 16 different criminal cases across Gorakhpur and Sant Kabir Nagar.
