Police arrest women for knife attack and armed robbery in separate incidents
In Malagueño, a 23-year-old woman was arrested after attacking police officers with a knife. The incident began when municipal security cameras detected the woman walking in public with a sharp weapon. When officers attempted to intercept her, she attacked them, causing lacerations to their hands. Police utilized a non-lethal Byrna device to neutralize and apprehend the suspect, who has been placed at the disposal of the justice system.
In Ciudad Juárez, authorities arrested 35-year-old Carla C. G. for an armed robbery at a grocery store in the Héroes de la Revolución neighborhood. The victim reported that a woman threatened them with a weapon to steal cash. Following a search operation, police located the suspect in the Infonavit Solidaridad neighborhood, where they recovered stolen money and a replica revolver. The suspect is also being investigated for a separate robbery captured on security cameras.
