Police bust drug houses in Chișinău and Varna, arrest ten in Moldova and five in Bulgaria

Moldovan police detained a 57‑year‑old man in Chișinău after discovering his apartment was being used as a clandestine drug consumption site. Ten people, aged 25 to 80, were found under the influence of substances including PVP and hashish, along with consumption devices.

Bulgarian police in Varna carried out two operations. On July 28, detectives from the Third Police Department arrested three men (28, 35 and 57) during a drug deal, seizing an electronic scale, 79.58 g of marijuana, synthetic cannabinoid products, and related paraphernalia. A later raid captured a 32‑year‑old trafficker and a 36‑year‑old driver discarding crystal packets; police recovered an additional 11.33 g of methamphetamine. In total, five suspects were detained in Varna.
