Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo gifts free Umrah to domestic worker

Indonesian National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has gifted a free Umrah pilgrimage to Heni Yawati, a 58-year-old domestic worker, as a birthday present. The trip is part of the ‘Wisata Religi Umrah Presisi’ program, an initiative launched by the Komunitas Masyarakat Pecinta Polisi Indonesia.

Heni Yawati, known as Bi Heni, has a history of significant personal hardship. She began working as a laundry laborer at the age of eight to support her siblings after her father remarried, which forced her to drop out of school. At age 15, she was married by her father. Despite her own lack of education, she prioritized her children's schooling, successfully ensuring all four of her children graduated from high school through her earnings as a domestic worker.
