Police conduct arrests and vehicle seizure in Venezuela and Dominican Republic

In Maneiro, Venezuela, authorities arrested Juan José Guaina following allegations of physical aggression against his former partner. The incident involved a violation of existing gender protection measures. After the victim reported that Guaina had violently grabbed her arm at her residence, police initiated a search. Guaina attempted to flee on a Suzuki motorcycle but was intercepted by officers in Las Palmas street after a pursuit. He reportedly resisted arrest before being neutralized, and his motorcycle was seized as evidence. The case has been referred to the Public Ministry in Nueva Esparta.

In Pimentel, Dominican Republic, the National Police seized a black 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee after discovering it was linked to José Rafael Gutiérrez Roque, a person currently under a red alert as a fugitive. The vehicle was being driven by Nelson Tomás Gómez Moronta, who claimed he was unaware of the owner's whereabouts and stated the vehicle was undergoing a transfer process through a vehicle agency. The vehicle remains in police custody for further investigation.
