Police conduct traffic enforcement in Croatia and Montenegro

Police in Croatia and Montenegro have conducted enforcement actions targeting traffic violations. In the Sisačko-moslavačka County, authorities intercepted four drivers for various infractions. The most severe case involved a 37-year-old recidivist in Kutina who was driving with 1.88 per mille of alcohol while his license was revoked. He was sentenced to 80 days in prison and his vehicle was permanently confiscated by the court.

Other incidents in Croatia included a 57-year-old driving under the influence in Velika Ludina and a 22-year-old Slovenian citizen caught driving with 1.22 per mille of alcohol in Staro Selo Topusko. Additionally, a 24-year-old was stopped in Donja Gračenica for driving despite a ban.

In Montenegro, the Bar Security Department utilized drones to monitor the Bar–Ulcinj route. The aerial surveillance identified several risky maneuvers, including illegal overtaking across continuous lines. Eight drivers were stopped and issued fines for actions that endangered other road users. Montenegrin police stated they will continue using drones and new radar technology to increase efficiency and road safety.
