Police confirm Insaurralde video of US dollars filmed at San Vicente home

A technical report by the Scopometry Division of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA) has confirmed that video footage showing large quantities of US dollars was filmed in the San Vicente residence of former official Martín Insaurralde. The footage, which depicts Jésica Cirio alongside bundles of cash, was identified as being recorded in the upper-floor hallway of the property shared by the couple.

Specialists reached this conclusion by analyzing physical matches between the video frames and the property, including metallic ceiling profiles, microcement floor joints, the placement of light switches, and specific wear patterns on materials. The investigation has ruled out other properties, such as a residence in the City of Buenos Aires.

Based on this evidence, prosecutor Sergio Mola is preparing to expand the charges of illicit enrichment and money laundering against both Insaurralde and Cirio. Preliminary estimates suggest the video may show sums close to US$10 million. This follows previous accounting reports indicating that Insaurralde’s expenditures significantly exceeded his declared income, with similar discrepancies noted regarding Cirio’s resources.
