Spanish police arrest suspects in violent robberies in Elche and Vigo

In Elche, local police detained two men, aged 22 and 24, after a citizen reported a robbery with intimidation on Avenida de la Libertad. The victim said a gold chain had been pulled from his neck and identified one of the suspects, who was carrying a knife. Officers recovered several pieces of jewelry, watches, tools, vehicle keys and two knives among the suspects' belongings and taken them to the police station for further investigation.

In the Balaídos district of Vigo, National Police officers arrested three individuals – two men and a woman – after a neighbor alerted authorities to loud noises and suspicious activity at a residence. The police found the suspects crouched on a landing with a flashlight, screwdriver, zip ties and a knife, and observed forced‑entry marks on a window and door. The homeowner was not present, and the three were placed in judicial custody.
