Police dismantle human trafficking and prostitution ring in Poland

Police from the Lublin Provincial Police have dismantled an organized crime group involved in human trafficking and prostitution. The group was led by a 63-year-old man and his 44-year-old wife, who operated a club in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship.

Investigations revealed that between 2009 and 2024, the group facilitated prostitution and human trafficking, generating estimated financial gains of over 5.5 million PLN. The couple provided a venue for prostitution and supervised the women involved. One victim, a 28-year-old woman, was specifically targeted for human trafficking due to her vulnerability and lack of housing.

The couple has been temporarily arrested, and five additional individuals face charges for participating in the group. The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Zamość District Prosecutor's Office.
