Police Drug Bust at Denmark's Smukfest Festival

On Wednesday, Danish police conducted a drug operation at Smukfest, cutting the wristbands of eight festival-goers. Four individuals were suspected of possessing hash in their tents on the Føla camping area, with amounts ranging from 3.24 to 9.37 grams, and one person was also found with 0.3 gram of mushrooms. Police also searched the Skanderborghus campsite, identifying three more suspects with drugs, and later that evening detained a 34‑year‑old man near the festival’s medical tent who was carrying six bags containing a total of 2.87 grams of cocaine.

The festival opened to hundreds of attendees, with performances scheduled through Saturday, August 8. Acts include Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Suspekt, Lis Sørensen and Mumle, and the opening concert was headlined by Sofie1998 at 16:00.
