Police in Brazil arrest suspects in vehicle theft and armed robbery

In Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, the Military Police arrested two men suspected of breaking into a vehicle on Sunday night. Investigators recovered all stolen belongings, including the victim's shoes, wallet, documents and bank cards, and prevented further attempts to use the cards at local convenience stores.

In Jequié, Bahia, police apprehended two men suspected of an armed robbery at a local store on Friday. Surveillance footage led officers to the suspects on a motorcycle, where they seized two .38 caliber revolvers, ammunition, mobile phones, the motorcycle key and R$ 6,016 in cash. Both suspects were taken into custody and transferred to the appropriate police authority.
