Police in Dortmund seize illegal e-cigarettes and cash

Police in Dortmund, Germany, seized 1,813 illegal e-cigarettes, 440 packs of untaxed cigarettes, and suspected counterfeit branded sportswear during a raid on a travel agency. Officers also confiscated approximately 26,000 euros in cash found on a suspect and in money boxes.

The operation occurred on Schützenstraße when officers noticed suspicious activity at the business. The suspect attempted to prevent police entry and alert others in the shop, but officers intervened to prevent the destruction of evidence. The investigation is ongoing in cooperation with customs authorities.
