Police in Latin America Detain Multiple Individuals Over Health and Domestic Offenses
Authorities in several localities recorded a string of arrests for individuals with outstanding warrants related to health‑related crimes and, in one case, failure to pay alimony. Among those taken into custody were Luis Alberto A. H., 24, Hugo Rey O. T., 40, Miguel Ángel R. M., 33, Benito S. T., 34, Abel Adrián A. C., 36, Guadalupe G. G., 28, Víctor Manuel C. H., 34, Javier O. C., 45, Martín M. O., 30 and Luis Armando A. C., 31, each identified through the Plataforma Juárez system and apprehended at various street intersections across their respective neighborhoods.
In Argentina, police in La Bajada, Banda Department, detained a 23‑year‑old man who violated a court‑ordered home‑exclusion measure and damaged his grandmother’s residence. The young man attempted to force entry while intoxicated, shattered a window, and was taken into custody and placed at the Women and Family police station pending further investigation.
