Police in Poland detain individuals for theft and misappropriation

Police in Poland have resolved two separate incidents involving theft and misappropriation.

In Gorzyce, officers recovered two mobile phones stolen from a sports field. An 18-year-old man was detained after police identified him as a person of interest following a report from a group of friends playing football. The suspect faces charges that could result in a prison sentence ranging from three months to five years.

In Rzeszów, a 31-year-old man was apprehended after taking cash from a found wallet. The individual discovered a wallet containing approximately 2,500 PLN in cash and various documents in a store parking lot. While he returned the wallet to the store, he removed at least 2,000 PLN. The suspect has partially confessed to the appropriation of the funds and faces up to three years in prison.
