Police in Romania report driving offenses in Satu Mare and Sibiu

Authorities in Romania have reported two separate incidents involving driving violations. In Satu Mare County, a 23-year-old woman from Turț was intercepted by police in the locality of Trip while driving a vehicle that had been withdrawn from circulation. The Negrești-Oaș Rural Police Station is investigating the case for the offense of driving an unregistered vehicle.

In Sibiu, a 48-year-old man caused a traffic accident on Rusciorului Street after losing control of his vehicle and striking a parked car. A breathalyzer test indicated an alcohol level of 0.53 mg/l of pure alcohol in his exhaled air. Police have opened a criminal investigation into driving under the influence of alcohol.
