Police in Senegal and Guinea apprehend suspects in separate criminal investigations

In Senegal, the Ndamatou District Police Department has referred three individuals to the prosecutor's office following a violent burglary at a multi-service business in Dahra Djolof. The incident, which occurred on October 19, resulted in an estimated loss of 8 million FCFA.

During a patrol on October 20, officers intercepted a suspicious white Mitsubishi vehicle lacking license plates. Upon inspection, police discovered blood traces, tools, a black balaclava, ammunition, and various weapons, including a machete and an iron bar. The investigation linked the suspects to the previous night's robbery.

In Guinea, national police in Conakry arrested four suspects believed to be part of a vehicle theft ring. The investigation began after a resident of Lambanyi reported a stolen car. Authorities recovered several vehicles during operations in the Tannerie and Maferinyah areas. The suspects have reportedly confessed to the crimes and are awaiting judicial proceedings.
