Police in Sharjah and Amman report significant cash-related incidents

In Sharjah, police honored an Arab resident for his honesty after he found and returned Dh85,000. Colonel Humaid Saeed bin Sahou, Director of the Commercial Areas Police Department, presented the recognition, noting that the resident's actions reflect social responsibility and help strengthen community trust.

In Amman, Jordan's Public Security Directorate arrested a suspect within hours of a robbery at a roastery in the Al Wehdat area. The thief allegedly disabled surveillance cameras and used power tools to break into a steel safe, stealing JD5,000. Following a joint investigation by East Amman Police and the Criminal Investigation Department, the suspect was apprehended and the stolen money was recovered. The individual will be referred to the judiciary.
