Police infrastructure projects advance in Navia and Medellín
In Navia, San Luis, Governor Claudio Poggi inaugurated the expansion and upgrading of Subcomisaría Nº25. Formerly Detachment Nº31, the facility has been renamed ‘Sargento Primero Francisco Gómez’ to reflect the growing needs of the locality near the Mendoza border. The renovation includes new offices, a sanitary core, and a holding cell, aimed at improving operational infrastructure and working conditions for police personnel.
In Medellín, Colombia, Mayor Federico Gutiérrez reported that the new El Poblado Police Station has reached 30% construction progress. The project involves an investment of 18,000 million pesos to create a modern facility capable of housing 150 officers. The new headquarters is designed to provide better technological resources and administrative spaces to enhance security in Comuna 14.
