Police investigate assault and sexual assault cases in Rajasthan and Bihar

In Rajasthan, the Kalyanpur police have registered a case against Shanti Lal following allegations that he and three others assaulted a woman and stole her 'stridhan' (dowry/personal property). The investigation is being conducted under the direction of Station Officer Sohan Lal Bamaniya.

In Bihar, a case of sexual assault against a minor has been reported in the Bikramganj police station area of Rohtas district. According to the victim's mother, a neighbor entered the home at night armed with a weapon and raped the minor. Police have registered a case and are conducting raids to apprehend the suspect, while the victim undergoes medical examination.
