Police investigate deaths of couple in Glen View, Harare

Police in Harare are investigating the deaths of a couple found in their Glen View home. The man, described as a local church leader and bouncer, was found dressed, while his wife was found naked. While community speculation has suggested a possible double suicide, authorities have not officially confirmed the cause of death or the identities of the deceased. Investigators noted that the couple had reportedly experienced repeated misunderstandings over time.

In a separate but related incident in the same neighborhood, a man died at Sally Mugabe Hospital after allegedly ingesting rat poison. Neighbors reported that the man had been experiencing marital difficulties and had previously accused his wife of infidelity. The death has added to the local community's distress following the recent discovery of another couple, Nyasha Mhungu and Olga Muzhingi, who were found dead in their bedroom.
