Police investigate multiple incidents across Croatia and Montenegro

In Croatia, several traffic-related incidents were reported in the Brod-Posavina County. In Slavonski Brod, a 61-year-old driver was detained after refusing an alcohol test and being found with an expired license. In Ruščica, a 33-year-old driver with 1.94 per mille of alcohol in his system fell into a drainage ditch after falling asleep at the wheel. Additionally, in Zapolje, a 20-year-old driver sustained minor injuries after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a fence.

In Montenegro, legal and political developments continue. Goran Marinović, former director of Montefarma, stated that a court overturned his dismissal because the Ministry of Health failed to prove allegations of conflict of interest. Separately, legal proceedings are ongoing involving former police official Zoran Lazović and others, with prosecutors presenting evidence related to alleged cooperation with criminal organizations. Lawyer Miroje Jovanović also issued a statement responding to political calls regarding the upcoming Serbian elections, addressing themes of corruption and civic responsibility.
