Police investigate fatal shootings in Philadelphia and Phoenix

Two separate fatal shootings have been reported in Philadelphia and Phoenix.

In Philadelphia, 22-year-old Semaj Porter was shot and killed in the Kensington neighborhood on the 800 block of East Madison Street. His mother, Sheila Porter, stated the shooting followed a dispute with a family member and noted that the victim was a father to a two-year-old. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

In Phoenix, 20-year-old Damarion Goins was found dead in a backyard following an alleged armed robbery. Police responded to reports of shots fired near Broadway Road and 19th Street, where two women reported being robbed by several unknown men. Goins was discovered dead at the scene hours later. The Phoenix Police Department's Gang Unit is assisting with the investigation, and no arrests have been made.
