Police arrest three men for pharmacy wholesaler robbery in Saitama

Three men in their 20s have been arrested for allegedly robbing a pharmaceutical wholesaler in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture. The suspects, identified as Rio Okada, Atsuki Tsuchino, and Noriki Takanezawa, reportedly entered the company premises with knives on October 26, stealing approximately 50,000 yen in cash and three smartphones.

Authorities believe the individuals joined the crime through “dark part-time jobs” (yami baito), a term used for illicit recruitment schemes. Police are investigating the case as a crime involving a “Tokuryu” group, which refers to anonymous and fluid criminal organizations. Takanezawa was apprehended at his home, while Okada and Tsuchino were arrested at internet cafes in Osaka and Kagoshima, respectively. All three suspects have admitted to their involvement.
