Slovak police find headless body in burned car near Myjava

Slovak authorities and the Bureau of Organized Crime are investigating the discovery of a headless body found inside a burned-out Škoda Fabia near the village of Brestovec, Myjava. The vehicle, which bears Czech registration plates, was found in a wooded area near the Czech border.

Investigators found the victim's head several meters away from the vehicle. A rope with a noose was also discovered hanging from a tree near the car. The case is being handled under a classified regime, with Slovak and Czech criminal investigators collaborating on the inquiry.

The discovery appears linked to a manhunt in the Czech Republic for 43-year-old Radek G., who was suspected of an attempted murder in the Uherské Hradiště district. According to reports, the suspect allegedly attacked his former wife in Uherský Ostroh, causing life-threatening injuries. While Czech police recently canceled the search for the man, the official connection between the suspect and the body found in Slovakia has not yet been confirmed pending autopsy results.
