Police investigate home burglaries and impersonation robbery in Poland
Multiple criminal incidents involving home intrusions have been reported in Poland. In the Nowy Sącz area, two women reported burglaries where perpetrators entered through unsecured doors. One victim lost a smartphone and documents, while another lost 2,000 PLN in cash. Local police have urged residents to remain vigilant and ensure doors are locked even when at home.
In a separate and more severe incident in Zalesie, within the Myszyniec municipality, perpetrators reportedly impersonated police officers to gain entry to a residence. While official police statements confirm an investigation into a home intrusion, unofficial reports suggest the suspects searched the house, stole valuables, and abandoned the homeowner in a nearby forest. Authorities have confirmed that no physical injuries were sustained during the Zalesie incident, and the suspects remain at large.
