Police investigate homicide in Barcelona and gender violence arrest in Argentina

In Barcelona, Spain, the Mossos d’Esquadra have launched a homicide investigation following a group assault in the Nou Barris district. The incident occurred around 2:00 AM in the Roquetes neighborhood on Calle del Romaní. A man, estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old, died following the attack. As of now, no suspects have been detained, and authorities are working to identify the participants involved in the group aggression.

In Argentina, a 31-year-old man was apprehended after attempting to force entry into his former partner's home on Calle España. The suspect allegedly caused property damage by striking the door and shouting insults at the victim. Police caught the individual as he attempted to flee by jumping from the property's patio. He has been taken into custody for suspected gender-based violence under the direction of prosecutor Dr. Juan Pablo Giles.
