Police investigate kidnapping and armed home invasion in Rotterdam

Police in the Netherlands are searching for several suspects involved in a kidnapping and armed home invasion. On Thursday, July 30, two men reportedly kidnapped a 20-year-old woman near Papendrecht around 10:00 PM.

Later that night, approximately 11:00 PM, three suspects entered a residence on Prinsenlaan in Rotterdam. The perpetrators reportedly tied up and threatened family members with knives and a firearm before fleeing with a large amount of loot carried in two light blue trash bags. While no injuries were reported, authorities noted the significant psychological impact on those present. Investigators are reviewing footage of the suspects, who are believed to be in their early twenties and were wearing hoods and dark clothing.
