Police investigate multiple thefts and an assault in Germany

Police in Germany are investigating several recent criminal incidents across different regions. In Mertesdorf, a grey and black Piaggio scooter was stolen from a residential driveway during the night of September 4 to September 5, 2026. Authorities are seeking witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity near the location.

In Wiesbaden, multiple incidents were reported. On September 2 and 3, an apartment in Hahnemannstraße was burglarized, resulting in the theft of cash. Additionally, a black Kwang Yang scooter was stolen from Karl-Marx-Straße on September 3 after thieves bypassed the steering lock.

Furthermore, a 21-year-old man was assaulted in Wiesbaden's Moritzstraße on the afternoon of September 3. Two male attackers, estimated to be between 20 and 25 years old, reportedly struck the victim and threw chairs at him before fleeing the scene. The victim required medical attention following the attack.
