Police investigate robbery and attempted bicycle theft in Germany

Police in Germany are investigating two separate criminal incidents involving theft and robbery.

In the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis region, a 22-year-old cyclist was robbed of a lighter between Wiesloch and Baiertal. An unknown male, described as being between 25 and 35 years old, approximately 180 cm tall with dark hair and a three-day beard, allegedly used a screwdriver to threaten the victim. The suspect fled toward Wiesloch, and authorities are seeking witnesses.

In Feucht, three Polish nationals, aged 35, 35, and 56, were arrested at a train station following an attempted theft of an electric bicycle (pedelec). The suspects were observed using an angle grinder to cut a lock when a witness alerted the police. All three individuals were placed in custody following arrest warrants issued by the Nuremberg-Fürth public prosecutor's office.
