Police investigate separate fatal shootings in Washington and California

Authorities in Tacoma, Washington, have made a fourth arrest in connection with a homicide that occurred on October 18, 2026. Following reports of shots fired near 1100 Commerce Street, a juvenile male was found with life-threatening wounds and pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives previously arrested two adult males and one adult female in Tacoma and Yelm, and most recently, a teenage male was booked into Remann Hall for murder in the first degree.

In California, police are investigating two separate incidents in Arcadia and Pasadena. In Arcadia, officers responded to an apartment on West Huntington Drive after reports of a man firing a gun. A juvenile female was found with a gunshot wound and died at the scene; the suspect fled before police arrived. Meanwhile, in Pasadena, authorities reported a man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Arroyo Parkway.
