Police investigate separate property damage incidents in Germany

Police in Germany are investigating two separate incidents of property damage reported in Erfurt and Lindlar.

In Möbisburg-Rhoda, an unknown perpetrator damaged a festival tent located at a sports field between late August 21 and early August 22, 2026. The damage, which included cut tension straps and damaged tent rubbers, is estimated at approximately 115 euros. The tent had been erected by the Bürgerinitiative Verein Möbisburg-Rhoda e. V. for a planned event.

In Lindlar, two unidentified men entered a minigolf course in the early hours of August 15, 2026. Surveillance footage captured two males, aged approximately 18 to 20, damaging a security camera cable and tampering with an outdoor refrigerator. Police have released descriptions of the individuals to assist in the investigation.
