Police investigate separate shootings in Tacoma and Seattle

Police in Tacoma and Seattle are investigating separate shooting incidents.

In Tacoma, authorities have arrested three suspects in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on August 7, 2026, in the 2100 block of N. 30th St. The victim, an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The arrests include an adult male booked into the Pierce County Jail for first-degree murder and robbery, a juvenile male booked into Remann Hall for first-degree murder, and a third adult male arrested on August 18 for first-degree murder.

In Seattle, police are investigating a shooting at Roxhill Park in the Roxbury neighborhood. On August 19, 2026, a 40-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds and transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition. The Seattle Police Department's Gun Violence Reduction Unit is currently searching for a suspect.
