Police investigate separate violent assaults in Zoetermeer and Arnhem

Two separate violent incidents have been reported in the Netherlands. In Zoetermeer, a man was ambushed by a group of approximately ten individuals while exiting an elevator in an apartment building on Dunantstraat around 10:00 PM on Monday. The group, described as being dressed entirely in black with covered faces, assaulted the victim with kicks and punches and attempted to stab him with a knife before robbing him. The attackers fled via a fifth-floor exit.

In Arnhem, a 25-year-old woman was assaulted at a kebab shop near the Korenmarkt during the night of April 18 to 19. The attack occurred after the woman confronted an unknown man regarding an offensive remark. The assailant, described as being approximately 50 years old, 1.85 meters tall, with black/grey hair, pushed the woman to the ground and struck her multiple times in the face and neck. Police are seeking witnesses and information regarding both incidents.
