Police investigate series of container fires in Germany
Police in Bielefeld are searching for witnesses following a series of intentional fires targeting waste containers and bins in the city center. The incidents, which began on October 23, have occurred at various locations, including school grounds and residential areas. While no injuries were reported, the fires caused property damage.
In a separate incident on October 31, a fire broke out at the Lindener Turm involving three waste containers and a cooling container. Authorities suspect the blaze may have been caused by fireworks. Firefighters were able to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby buildings or Christmas market stalls. Local business owners expressed concern regarding the potential cause of the fire.
