Police investigate suspicious deaths in Bareilly and Kolkata

Police in India are investigating two separate incidents involving suspicious deaths. In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a 28-year-old man named Faizan was found dead, hanging from a ceiling fan in a rented home. Faizan had married Jasmin approximately one month prior and was living separately from his family. While his wife stated he fell asleep after dinner, Faizan's family has raised suspicions due to blood found on his head. Authorities are awaiting a post-mortem report to determine the exact cause of death.

In the New Town area near Kolkata, West Bengal, authorities recovered the decomposed body of a man identified as Sourav Biswas, aged between 32 and 35. The body was found wrapped in a sack with bricks placed on top to secure it. CCTV footage reportedly shows an individual carrying the sack and discarding it near a parked motorcycle. The victim had been missing for several days, and police are reviewing footage to identify the suspect.
