Police investigate theft in Choya and suspicious death in Posadas

Police in Argentina are investigating two separate incidents involving theft and a suspicious death.

In Ancaján, Choya, 29-year-old Ana Magalí Sueldo reported the theft of two million pesos in savings from her home. Sueldo discovered the missing funds after returning from a trip to Santiago del Estero for health reasons. Investigators noted there were no signs of forced entry, leading them to suspect three individuals close to the victim who possessed keys to the residence. No arrests have been made.

In Posadas, Misiones, authorities have detained a 29-year-old man, identified as Félix Ramón M., following the death of 41-year-old Analía Itatí Quiroz. The incident began when Quiroz alerted her family that someone was attempting to force her door. Although her sister found no signs of physical damage to the home, Quiroz was found in shock and experiencing respiratory distress, passing away shortly after. A 37-year-old woman was also detained for allegedly attempting to obstruct the investigation. An autopsy is pending to determine the official cause of death.
