Police investigate two separate murders in Hathras and Jaipur

Two separate murder investigations are underway in India following violent incidents in Hathras and Jaipur.

In Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, a retired Army veteran identified as 58-year-old Shamsuddin and his 55-year-old wife, Saddo Begum, were allegedly killed with sharp-edged weapons inside their home. The bodies were discovered Sunday morning after neighbors noticed the residence remained locked. Police have deployed forensic experts and a dog squad to investigate the motive, which remains unknown. Five teams have been formed to identify the suspects.

In Jaipur, a 32-year-old woman named Kiran was reportedly killed and buried in a garden by her live-in partner, 22-year-old Pravesh. The crime was discovered by a landlord who noticed a hand protruding from freshly dug soil in the garden of their rented house. Police believe the killing occurred several days prior to the discovery. The suspect fled the scene, and authorities are currently working to trace him and contact the victim's family in Uttar Pradesh.
