Police investigate vehicle theft and hit-and-run in Schwalbach and Kelkheim

Police in the Schwalbach and Kelkheim areas are investigating several incidents, including a vehicle theft and a hit-and-run involving cyclists.

In Schwalbach, a black Audi S3 was stolen from the Ostring area. The vehicle had been parked there since September 18, 2026, but the theft was not discovered until September 27. Additionally, an unknown individual broke into at least two parked vehicles on Rödelheimer Straße in the early hours of September 27, searching for valuables. A witness observed a person using a flashlight to inspect an Audi before fleeing the scene as police arrived.

In Kelkheim, authorities are searching for a woman involved in a bicycle accident on Kronberger Straße on September 26. A 73-year-old woman fell from her pedelec, possibly following a conflict with another cyclist. The second participant, described as a woman aged 55–60, approximately 170 cm tall with long shoulder-length hair and a tanned, Eastern European appearance, fled the scene before police arrived.
