Crime and traffic incidents reported across Moldova and Romania

Various criminal incidents and traffic violations have been reported across Moldova and Romania. In Moldova, a 24-year-old man is in critical condition following a shooting near Congaz, where a firearm, likely used for poaching, was employed. He was transferred to the Institute of Emergency Medicine in Chișinău for specialized surgery.

In Romania, several police interventions have occurred. In Caransebeș, a 24-year-old woman was detained after being caught driving without a license for the fourth time in three months. In Siret, a 47-year-old driver was arrested after blood tests revealed an extremely high blood alcohol level of over 4 g/l following a collision. Other traffic-related incidents include a pedestrian being struck in Bujoreni and a man from Argeș being detained for driving without a license in Alba.

Violent altercations were also reported, including a group fight in Todirești resulting in eight arrests, a domestic dispute in Bistrița involving a violation of a protection order, and several brawls in Târgu-Jiu, Neamț, and Filipeștii de Pădure. In one Neamț case, a man was stabbed by his partner following a domestic dispute.
