Police investigate violent attacks and vehicle thefts in UK and Australia
In the United Kingdom, West Mercia Police have arrested three men following an unprovoked attack on an officer in Stourport. On September 26, two individuals on a black motorbike wearing balaclavas threw a brick at a police vehicle on Linden Avenue. The incident is believed to be linked to earlier threats made against officers and a subsequent motorbike crash on York Street. The suspects, including an 18-year-old and a man in his 40s, face various charges including theft of a motor vehicle and criminal damage.
In Australia, police are searching for a gang involved in a series of violent bikejackings in Melbourne's west. On September 19, a 27-year-old woman was surrounded, punched, and tasered by a group of males in West Footscray before her motorcycle was stolen. She sustained a fractured rib and burn marks. The same group is also linked to two other incidents that day, involving the theft of a motorbike and a scooter, as well as an assault on a 32-year-old man with a wrench.
