Police investigate violent break-in and vehicle thefts in Hesse

Several criminal incidents and accidents have been reported in the Hesse region. In Erlensee, a group of men forcibly entered a residential building on Lindenstraße late Wednesday night. During the confrontation, two residents, aged 21 and 28, were attacked with punches, pepper spray, and a metallic object. The intruders fled with a laptop and a mobile phone, leaving one victim requiring hospital treatment.

Vehicle thefts were also reported in the area. In Maintal, a black Audi Q7 was stolen from a company premises in Spessartstraße; the vehicle contained a cosmetic case with personal belongings. Additionally, a grey Audi A6 was stolen from Tannenring in Wiesbaden-Auringen during the early hours of Wednesday.

A serious traffic accident occurred on the B 417 in Wiesbaden, resulting in four injuries. A Seat collided with a stationary Opel that had broken down, causing the impact to throw two individuals standing near the vehicle over a guardrail. Three people sustained serious injuries in the collision.
