Police launch major search for missing woman in Cotswolds

Thames Valley Police have deployed more than 200 officers and staff to search for 66-year-old Caroline Heininger, who has been missing in the Cotswolds area of Oxfordshire.

Heininger was last seen on CCTV near Burford Lodge on the A40 in Burford at approximately 5:27 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5. Despite extensive rural searches, the use of helicopters from the National Police Air Service, and assistance from specialist volunteers from Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire, she has not been located.

Authorities are continuing to review CCTV footage and information provided by the public. Her family has issued an appeal for anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the police immediately.
