Police locate missing influencer's car in Tramandaí

The investigation into the disappearance of 23-year-old digital influencer and rideshare driver Gabriela Evaldt Cardoso, also known as Babi Souza, has reached a new stage following the discovery of her vehicle.

On September 16, a white Volkswagen Gol belonging to Gabriela’s mother was located in a garage of an uninhabited residence in the Jardim Atlântico neighborhood of Tramandaí, Rio Grande do Sul. The vehicle had its license plates and identifying stickers removed. Following an anonymous tip, the Civil Police and the General Institute of Forensics (IGP) conducted technical examinations and collected evidence from the car and the property. The vehicle has been sent for further technical analysis.

Gabriela has been missing since the night of September 6, when she left Tramandaí heading toward Torres. Her last known contacts were via messages; she informed her mother she would return the car the following morning and told a friend she was leaving Tramandaí to meet her in Passo de Torres. The Civil Police stated they are not ruling out any possibilities, including homicide, as the investigation continues.
