Police locate missing woman in Colônia Esperança

Members of the Patrulha Escolar Comunitária and the Municipal Guard located a missing woman in the rural Colônia Esperança region on Tuesday afternoon.

While conducting a routine patrol near a rural school, officers spotted a parked motorcycle and a person lying on the grass by the roadside. Having received a prior alert regarding a resident who had left home without notice, the team investigated and confirmed the identity of the woman and her vehicle.

The woman stated she was resting at the location. Officers remained on the scene to ensure her well-being until her partner arrived. Following a conversation between the couple, the woman returned home by car, and the motorcycle was left to be recovered later.
