Police Mobile Force commanders complete combat training

Squadron commanders of the Police Mobile Force (PMF) have completed a month-long intensive training program at the Force Training College in Ila-Orangun, Osun State. The curriculum focused on weapon handling, combat maneuvering, and professional leadership development.

Commandant Anietie Eyoh stated that the training included specialized tactics for forest operations, drill and discipline, conflict management, de-escalation, and emergency response. The program also covered law and human rights, jungle survival, and physical conditioning.

According to Eyoh, the exercise is part of broader institutional reforms initiated by Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu to enhance the Force’s service delivery. The goal is to develop disciplined officers capable of professional thinking, effective communication, and sound judgment while exercising police powers.
