Police officer evacuated by helicopter from Casa Rosada

A Federal Police officer, identified as Berta Benítez, was urgently evacuated via helicopter from the Casa Rosada after suffering a severe medical emergency involving convulsions.

An emergency sanitary operation was activated at the government headquarters to facilitate her rapid transport to the Hospital Churruca, a police medical center located in the Parque Patricios neighborhood. The helicopter departed from the helipad at Balcarce 50 to expedite medical attention due to the severity of her condition.

The aerial movement drew significant attention from residents and passersby in the city center. Officials confirmed the flight was strictly related to the medical evacuation of the officer, who serves at the police station located within the government building. At the time of the incident, President Javier Milei was not at the Casa Rosada, but was at Quinta de Olivos. Benítez remains under medical observation.
