Police officer from Chełmno wins regional dispatch competition

Commissioner Tomasz Zieliński, a Deputy Dispatcher at the District Police Headquarters in Chełmno, has won the regional qualifiers for the VI National Police Dispatch Service Tournament. The competition, held in Bydgoszcz, involved nineteen officers from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region.

Participants were evaluated through theoretical knowledge tests and practical assessments at simulated command stations. Evaluation criteria included proficiency with IT systems, communication equipment, procedural knowledge, and professional conduct. Zieliński, who has served in the force since 2007 in various departments including road traffic and juvenile affairs, secured the highest number of points.

His victory earns him a place in the national finals scheduled to take place in Katowice this November, where he will represent the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship.
