Police Promotions Raise 53 Officers in Ecuador and 256 in Philippines

In Loja, Ecuador, 53 police personnel were promoted to higher ranks, including Suboficial Mayor, Suboficial Segundo, Sargento Primero, Sargento Segundo and Cabo Primero. The ceremony was led by Colonel Pablo Fajardo Delgado, commander of the Subzona Loja subrogante, and highlighted by Governor Juan Carlos Álvarez, who praised the career of Suboficial Mayor John Erasmo Betancourt Pinzón.

In the Philippines, the Regional Office XI of the National Police held a simultaneous oath‑taking and rank‑donning ceremony at Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido in Buhangin, Davao. Regional Director PBGEN Leon Victor Z. Rosete presided over the promotion of 256 police officers and civilian staff under the CY 2026 Regular Promotion Program, with guest speaker Ma. Teresa Tuburan‑Pacudan addressing the promotees. The promotions covered ranks from Police Major to Police Corporal and included non‑uniformed personnel.
