Governor Dedi Mulyadi Launches Ideology Initiative and Free Standard Exhaust Program

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi opened the seventh regional assembly of the Korps Alumni Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (KAHMI) in Bandung, urging members to reinforce Islamic‑based ideology and direct community service amid rapid digital development. He emphasized that academic achievement must translate into tangible contributions to society.

In a separate announcement, Governor Mulyadi disclosed a provincial plan to supply free standard‑type exhaust systems at traffic‑police posts for motorcycles priced below Rp 25 million. The measure aims to replace noisy, non‑compliant exhausts during police operations, reducing illegal noise pollution while exempting higher‑priced motorcycles from the program.
